Artworks

For over twenty years Stella Battaglia and Gianni Miglietta have dealt with perspective and anamorphosis from the point of view of both theoretical and creative research. The collaboration with the Museo Galileo, Institute and Museum of the History of Science of Florence was important both for national and international exhibitions and for the design and creation of educational workshops on the theme of the relationship between art and science.

Gianni focused on perfecting anamorphosis with a spherical mirror - further developing the tradition of anamorphosis with mirrors - and through the in-depth study of sundials and techniques for measuring time.

Stella has dedicated herself to exploring the plastic potential of perspective with sculptures in different materials, both traditional and synthetic, grouped according to the theme: figures, lines and scenographic perspectives.
